Bar Codes
|
Another
time saving feature included in EZ Maintenance is the
program's automatic creation of Bar Codes. These can be
printed by Serial Number or Internal Control Number. Once
the Bar Code is printed and has been placed on the piece
of equipment, a maintenance event can be opened and a
Work Order produced, simply by scanning the Bar Code.
Serial Number generates
unique Bar Codes by Serial Number with the Equipment Name
for all equipment entered in EZ Maintenance.
Internal Control Number
generates a Bar Code list similar to Serial Number, but
it is sorted by equipment Internal Control Numbers.
Bar Codes can be
printed on standard 1"x 4" labels through an
inkjet or laser printer or on a custom barcode printer.
