Service Due - fleet maintenance software
Being able to quickly and easily determine which service is due and overdue is one of the most important issues of tracking and maintaining vehicles. A complete schedule of service, for any time period, can be pulled using EZ Maintenance software. A supervisor has three screen options to check preventive maintenance due or overdue: By Vehicle, By Date, or By Usage.
By Vehicle displays the following screen: Service Due By Vehicle
Service Due By Vehicle is a complete record of all vehicles that require service--uncompleted service events or opened, but not completed Work Orders. For any Vehicle Name selected, you will see a list of all its pending service in the lower table, in chronological order. Projected service due and open Work Orders are displayed here. If the manager determines a service event should have a Work Order produced, he/she simply selects the event and clicks Create/Edit Work Order.
Locate quickly finds vehicles from the list on the table in the middle of the screen. Select the Vehicle Number or Work Order Number you wish to enter for sorting purposes, then type in that detail, and click Locate. The particular vehicle youve chosen will be highlighted in the lower screen.
New Unscheduled Work Order Emergency, unplanned service requires clicking on New Unscheduled Work Order. Use the drop down menus (pre-entered SETUP data) to select a vehicle, fill in its details, and the required service to be covered in the New Unscheduled Work Order. When the Work Order is completed, it will become part of that vehicles history.
Create/Edit Work Order
Create or edit a Work Order for a service event by first selecting the event from the lower left grid, then clicking the Create/Edit Work Order button. A service Work Order is then created and a Work Order Number is assigned automatically.
Assign Work Orders
Clicking the Assign Work Orders button will take you to a screen that will allow you to assign each work order you create to a specific person or employee. This is to be done by Managers and Supervisors only. Work orders can then be batch printed.
Calendar creates a visual agenda of service events, which are past due, due today, this week, this month, etc., by selecting the specific date range you wish to view.
Note: Miles Till Next Service column, on the far right, is a handy feature that tracks the number of miles remaining until the next service is due.

Work Orders
1. How do we schedule maintenance and service? Do we have to type in each service date?
No. You simply enter the preventive maintenance or service to be performed, and then enter the cycle; i.e. every day, every week, every month, etc. EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software will automatically schedule the preventive maintenance or service on an on going basis from the day you schedule the first maintenance on the cycle you have selected. In other word, if you, for example, have a preventive maintenance or service you want to have take place once each week, when you enter the work you want done weekly, EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software will automatically schedule that preventive maintenance to take place weekly thereafter.
2. What happens if we miss a scheduled maintenance or service?
EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software allows a supervisor to note the reason, and to reschedule the work (this must be done by a supervisor so work cannot be missed or rescheduled without management control). When the work is rescheduled and completed, EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software automatically adjusts the calendar by rescheduling the balance of the maintenance . In other words, if a weekly preventive maintenance day is missed by four days, and the work is then done, EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software reschedules the rest of the maintenance weekly from the day the work was actually done.
3. How am I supposed to know which vehicles need maintenance?
EZ Maintenance fleet maintenance software allows an operator to track a vehicle by an assigned company identification number, or by its license plate. When it is time for preventive maintenance, the operator will be able to check a report to see that the specific vehicle needs a certain service.
